Lisbon, Portugal's Heart

Truth to be told, I was looking for oasis traveling to Portugal. I was set in having a room right by the ocean for the entire trip. However, being the planner that I am, I always scan through country's interesting places before getting there. It looks several learning from few visits in the past, but you eventually learn. It's the feeling of planning and getting the idea that you'll soon be part of that picture that just gets my travel bug flowing. I stumbled lights and old city pictures from Portugal. The drama in me was just revibing. So, even after I booked my trip, plane ticket and hotel confirmed and all, I went ahead and did my hotel booking in Lisbon.

Upon getting out of the metro, even lost to find the hotel, I didn't mind. With the hilly streets, tram passing by, in all it was exciting with curiosity of how this old city is just like. With every door, every street, it's hard to not fall in love with this city. Like any other city, there's ample things to do. I focus on the cuisine and admiring the sidewalks. You can keep walking and be lost in time. Time seems to be steal, maybe little faster than the country side, but still a charm.

Talk about characteristic neighborhood.

Talk about lively music.​

Talk about the vibrant tram.

Talk about the delish Portuguese tart.

Talk about banging steak with garlic sauce.

Talk about this lovely city at night.
